Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
3 cups of bread, cut into 1 inch cubes (about ½ of a French baguette)
3 Tbsp. unsalted butter
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. parsley, finely chopped
½ tsp. black pepper
½ tsp. seasoned salt, such as Lawry’s
Olive oil spray
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°.
Melt butter in microwave and set aside.
In a bowl or a zipped plastic bag, add bread cubes, melted butter, garlic powder, pepper, seasoned salt, and parsley. Spray lightly with olive oil spray and mix (shake if using plastic bag) to combine.
Spread evenly on baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, turning once. Keep an eye on croutons to avoid them from burning.
Tips:
I love using a French baguette for this recipe, but feel free to use other crusty bread, such as sourdough.
Get creative and play around with different seasonings! Ranch seasoning or Italian seasoning are great options.
