This is a quick and easy recipe that can be utilized as a summer side dish or a great alternative to grilled meat or poultry.
Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cauliflower head
2 Tbsp. light tasting oil, like vegetable oil
1 Tbsp. fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 Tbsp. fresh dill, finely chopped
1 Tbsp. shallot, finely chopped (optional)
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
BBQ oil spray
Directions:
Pre-heat grill to medium, around 400°.
Cut cauliflower in 1 inch steaks length-wise (depending on the size of the cauliflower head, you should yield 3-4 “steaks”).
Brush each side with oil and shallot (shallot is optional, but so tasty).
Season with salt, pepper, parsley, and dill.
Spray grill with oil spray.
Grill on direct heat for 5 min per side. Be sure to keep the lid closed while cooking.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes:
When grilling, don't move or touch the cauliflower until it's been on the grill for at least 4 minutes.
I recommend keeping the barbecue grill closed so the cauliflower will expedite the cooking process.
