These white-chocolate strawberries dipped in blue sprinkles is a great addition to your 4th of July barbecue!
Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 3 - 5 minutes | Total Time: 18 - 20 minutes
Ingredients:
1 – ½ lb. fresh strawberries, rinsed
16 oz. white chocolate chips
½ bottle blue sprinkles
Instructions:
Rinse and dry strawberries and set aside.
Line a plate or baking sheet with wax paper and set aside.
Pour white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave for 30 seconds at 50% power. Remove from microwave and stir.
Continue microwave and stirring process until mostly smooth - a few half-melted chocolate chips in the mixture is fine; you don't want to burn your chocolate.
Pour sprinkles in a shallow bowl or plate.
Dip ¾ of the strawberry into melted chocolate, ensuring excess chocolate has dripped off.
Dip ½ of the strawberry coated in chocolate directly into bowl with sprinkles and roll around to evenly coat.
Place on lined baking sheet to set. Let set for 15 minutes and serve immediately.
