Tzatziki Sauce

Quick and refreshing, enjoy this sauce with pita and crudité or alongside your favorite sandwich.



Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 0 minutes | Total Time: 15 minutes


Ingredients:

  • 1 c. non-fat plain Greek yogurt

  • ½ grated English cucumber, peeled

  • 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

  • 1 tsp. fresh dill

  • 1 tsp. fresh parsley

  • 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice

  • ½ tsp. salt

  • ¼ tsp. pepper


Directions:

  • Peel and grate ½ of cucumber, using a box grater.

  • Place grated cucumber on a towel and squeeze gently to remove excess water and place in large bowl.

  • Add all other ingredients and stir gently.


Notes:

  • Store in refrigerator for up to 5 days. The sauce may be watery so stir well before eating.
